We are looking for Sales Manager to join our team!
*This is a Clustered position for Shangri-La Rasa Sayang, Penang & Shangri-La Golden Sands, Penang.
Responsibilities
To assist and work hand-in-hand with our Commercial Sales Team to oversee and responsible for the day to day sales effort of the Sales Department. To develops and implements annual sales activity plan with measureable targets and achieve budgeted revenue under the guidance and supervision of the Director of Sales. Responsible for the conversion of groups with rooms under the general guidance and supervision of the Director of Sales.
Qualifications
* College Graduate / Diploma in Hotel Management
* 3-5 years working experience
* Have experience in managing Government portfolio
* Has a passion for Sales and Marketing
* Is a strong team player
* Has a can-do attitude
* Enjoys crafting creative and best-fit solutions for business partners and customers
* Thinks outside of the box whilst leading change in the hotel
* Understands the global markets and local environment
* Effective bi-lingual in English & Malay in both written and verbal.
* Has relevant experience of handling corporate and wholesales
* Computer Skills Including Microsoft Word & Excel
* Knowledge in Delphi / Opera is an added advantage
* Has strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Able to engage in a friendly and professional manner with business partners and customers
