The Warwick Breast Care Team is seeking a Breast Clinical Nurse Specialist Lead with experience at Band 7 or above in an NHS breast care service. The successful candidate will have experience managing a team and working strategically within a multidisciplinary team.
The role is part of a highly regarded service that provides compassionate, holistic care for patients both primary and secondary settings throughout the treatment pathway.
* Provide strategic nursing leadership for Breast Care services across the organisation.
* Collaborate with the Breast multi‑disciplinary team and other stakeholders to ensure efficient, effective delivery of services.
* Use improvement tools and practice development techniques to drive forward service quality.
* Oversee coordination of services to provide timely, high‑quality care for people with Breast Care needs.
* Apply advanced nursing practice to manage a caseload of patients referred for specialist intervention, including clinical palpation and requesting imaging (e.g., ultrasounds, mammograms).
* Exercise professional autonomy, making critical judgments and contributing to the development of innovative practice, research and standards of care.
Qualifications:
* Band 7 or above experience in NHS breast care service.
* Proven team management and multidisciplinary collaboration experience.
* Evidence of Masters Level study, or willingness to undertake.
* Experience with breast clinical assessment and imaging request processes.
