Business Change Manager – Leading Telecoms Digital Transformation

We are seeking an experienced Business Change Manager (BCM) to join the Networks Digital Enablement team at a leading telecommunications organisation.
This is a hands-on change delivery role—not a project management role—and is focused entirely on ensuring our internal company users are ready, supported, and equipped for a significant digital transformation journey.
This is a 3 month rolling contract, up to 9 months (as things stand).
About the Role
As a Business Change Manager, you will take ownership of the people side of change for internal business users impacted by digital transformation initiatives. This includes developing and executing detailed change and adoption plans, facilitating engagement across business units, and ensuring successful delivery of business readiness and change outcomes.
You will act as the critical bridge between technical delivery teams and end users, making sure that the transformation lands effectively across the business. This is a role for a true change agent with a strong track record of delivering structured business change in complex environments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and own detailed business change plans aligned with programme milestones.
* Lead stakeholder engagement and management activities across all impacted user groups.
* Identify change impacts and work with delivery teams to mitigate disruption to the business.
* Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, acting as their voice within the programme.
* Create tailored communication, training and adoption strategies that address specific user needs.
* Measure and report on business readiness, user adoption, and change effectiveness.
* Drive change advocacy and coach local champions to embed change at all levels.
You’ll Bring:
* Proven experience in a Business Change Manager role — delivering tangible change outcomes, not just managing projects.
* Strong understanding of business change frameworks and user adoption strategies.
* Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills — you’ll be interfacing across business units, technical teams, and leadership.
* Ability to build trust quickly and influence stakeholders at all levels.
* Experience working within digital or technology-led transformation programmes.
* Telecoms sector experience is desirable but not essential.
This Role is Not for:
* Project Managers looking to transition into change — this is a dedicated business change delivery role with stakeholder engagement at its core.
* Individuals without prior experience in leading business-side change or internal adoption work.
