Job Description:
Allen & York are partnering with Water Resources East (WRE) to recruit a Data Analyst passionate about utilizing data to address environmental and water resource challenges. You will play a key role in developing WRE’s Regional Water Resources Plan and environmental investigations, supporting nature recovery and water resilience in Eastern England.
Responsibilities include managing environmental/water datasets, developing dashboards and GIS tools using Power BI and ArcGIS, supporting data sharing platforms, and providing insights to inform planning and decision-making.
Key responsibilities:
* Manage and improve environmental and water resource datasets and ensure data quality
* Develop dashboards, GIS tools, and visualizations using Power BI and ArcGIS
* Support data sharing platforms and ensure legal compliance on data licensing
* Provide insights from models and screening tools for cross-sector planning
* Enhance data accessibility and clarity for diverse stakeholders
About you:
You should have experience managing complex datasets, working with data visualization and GIS software, and be confident presenting data to technical and non-technical audiences. Proficiency in Power BI, SharePoint, and ArcGIS is essential.
