Instrument Cell Operator Permanent Based in Wotton, Surrey - own transport required due to rural location of the site Key Responsibilities: Assemble, calibrate, and test instruments in accordance with defined work instructions and production schedules. Review assembly instructions and parts lists to prepare for tasks; gather necessary parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials. Assemble components accurately by checking connections for correct fit and securely fastening parts and subassemblies. Verify completed assemblies meet specifications by conducting precise measurements and quality checks. Ensure equipment remains operational by performing preventative maintenance, following manufacturer guidelines, and troubleshooting issues; escalate for repair when necessary. Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to company procedures, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Manage inventory by monitoring stock levels, anticipating supply needs, placing and expediting orders, and confirming receipt of materials. Complete work order documentation and accurately log transactions within the ERP system. Identify and raise quality concerns in alignment with established Quality Assurance procedures.
