We have an opportunity for an efficient and friendly Bank Receptionist at our Water Hall Care Home in Milton Keynes. * £12.85 to £13.05 per hour
* 30 hours a week available - 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 3pm on weekends
About the role:
* As a receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, so a warm welcome is essential.
* Ensure all visitors sign in and out.
* Answer all telephone calls, deliver messages promptly, or transfer calls to the relevant person.
* Handle incoming and outgoing post.
* Keep the reception area neat and tidy at all times.
* Work closely with the Home Manager and Administrator to ensure the home is stocked with necessary stationery.
* Record and report on the home's daily and weekly updates as directed by the Home Manager.
* The role also involves promoting the home, conducting show-arounds, and supporting recruitment efforts for new team members.
Qualifications and skills required:
* A positive, can-do approach
* Excellent communication skills
* Good IT skills - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
* Attention to detail
* Previous experience in a customer-facing or reception role
