They’re actively seeking a Paralegal or Claims Handler with ambition, organisation, and great people skills to support the claims team and grow professionally into managing a portfolio of pursuer injury cases. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing practice, focussed on client care and excellence. You will receive full training and support from a collaborative team daily! This is a full-time, permanent role, working core business hours Monday – Friday. This role will follow a hybrid working model and have a salary available of up to £30,000 p/a depending on experience. Are you who we are looking for? You have excellent communication, negotiation and objection-handling skills You possess strong organisational abilities and high attention to detail You are confident using Microsoft Office and case management systems You are a proactive and professional individual, who is ready to grow your career in personal injury law You enjoy developing your profile (and that of the firm) in the legal field You have excellent time and diary management skills What is the day to day like? Managing first response calls and referrals from insurer partners and customers Recording and tracking claim details via the Case Management System (CMS) Providing advice on claim procedures and gather supporting evidence Assisting with scanning and distributing mail and correspondence Delivering exceptional client service and communication Creating and maintaining cases in CMS and Excel Conducting chaser calls to clients, medical providers and insurers Supporting file requests and document preparation Coordinating internally via Microsoft Teams and Outlook Working toward handling your own portfolio of pursuer injury claims - pre-litigation and litigated Meeting with clients and expert witnesses Analysing evidence, legal research, and draft pleadings, statements and court documentation Securing interim payments and arrange rehabilitation Optimising settlement outcomes for clients who’ve faced traumatic experiences Interested?
