We’re Hiring: IT Manager
Head Office, Selby

We’re looking for an IT Manager who can take ownership of our group-wide IT function, driving both operational excellence and strategic development across our business.

You’ll play a key role in shaping how IT enables the business; leading projects, strengthening cyber security, and ensuring our systems evolve alongside our growth.
From managing infrastructure across multiple sites to delivering future-focused IT strategy, this is a hands-on leadership role with real impact.
What you’ll be doing
* Leading IT across GBUK, ensuring a reliable and efficient environment
* Driving strategic IT projects that support business growth
* Managing and developing relationships with third-party IT service providers
* Overseeing network, server, and cloud-based infrastructure
* Strengthening cyber security and delivering staff training
* Developing and testing business continuity and disaster recovery plans
* Managing IT budgets, forecasting, and cost control
* Creating and embedding IT policies, processes, and best practice
* Supporting, managing and developing your team
* Providing guidance to your direct reports on day-to-day and escalated issues
What we’re looking for
* Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure (networks, servers, end-user environments)
* A presence in the office, just outside Selby, at least 3 days per week
* Experience across on-premise and cloud-based systems (Microsoft 365, SharePoint)
* Proven track record of delivering IT projects
* Experience working with Managed Service Providers
* Confident communicator, able to engage stakeholders across the business
* A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong organisational skills
It would be great if you also have…
* Experience in a manufacturing, logistics, or similar environment
* Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics, Business Central or MS SQL
* Experience with Power Apps or asset management systems
* Understanding of GDPR and data security best practices
