Robert Half Accountancy and Finance are recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join a fantastic business based in Leeds city centre. This is a fantastic role for a recent graduate or a candidate with a strong academic background. You must be a motivated and keen to grow your career in finance. Full study support for your ACCA or CIMA qualification is on offer including all funding. What will you be doing? Assisting with the preparation and processing of invoices, expenses, and payments. Supporting month-end and year-end financial close activities. Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with internal controls Assisting with reconciliations, accruals, and prepayments What we're looking for? A strong educational background, ideally a degree in Accounting & Finance Excellent attention to detail Strong numerical and analytical skills, with confidence using Excel A proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team What's on offer?
