The Role We are seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Sales Administrator to join our growing team in Bury. This position is vital to ensuring smooth daily operations and delivering excellent customer service. You will be responsible for handling customer enquiries, processing orders, and supporting both internal and external sales teams to ensure a seamless customer journey.
Key Responsibilities Manage incoming enquiries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner.
Prepare and issue quotations along with basic technical documentation.
Process customer orders through the ERP system.
Manage after sales and logistics to ensure on-time delivery of goods.
Handle invoicing and credit control, ensuring timely payments.
Work closely with internal and external sales teams to enhance customer satisfaction.
General administrative and office duties.
Required Skills & Experience Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Experience using ERP systems (IFS preferred).
Confident telephone manner with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proven ability to work effectively as part of a close-knit team.
Ability to present solutions and strategies to colleagues and clients.
Desirable Skills Previous experience in a customer service or sales administration role.
Successful track record of working with ERP systems.
A desire to grow and develop within a supportive team environment.
