Accounts Assistant
Location : Alnwick (Other locations: Quayside, Newcastle

Our client is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their team.
The Role
You will support the Transaction Team Lead to process Sales, Rental and Purchases Invoices and assist with Supplier Payments.
Key Responsibilities
* Matching, checking, coding and processing purchase invoices, ensuring correct VAT is applied;
* Preparation of weekly payment runs;
* Setting up of new supplier accounts and maintaining existing account details;
* Reconciliation of supplier statements and resolution of discrepancies;
* Liaise with suppliers to resolve queries promptly and professionally;
* Reconciliation of bank statements;
* Supporting the preparation and issuing of sales and rental invoices and maintenance of rental ledger.
* Other ad:hoc items as requested.
