Duties
* Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude.
* Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring all details are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff.
* Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation.
* Assist in food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments.
* Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
* Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring satisfaction at all times.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any issues that may arise.
* Manage time effectively to ensure all guests receive prompt service throughout their visit.
Skills
* Strong hospitality skills with a genuine desire to provide excellent guest services.
* Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, with a solid understanding of serving techniques.
* Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary experience is an advantage.
* Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
* Time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods.
* Experience in upselling menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and maximize sales opportunities.
