Customer Service Operative Ashford (Charing) Full Time, Permanent £Competitive Job Title: Customer Service Operative Directorate: Sales, Customer Services Reports to: Customer Excellence Manager Job Summary To manage the day-today requirements of both Ardo UK and Rosemary & Thyme customers. Ensuring correct information and effective communications are delivered, providing a robust customer service experience to all customers. Taking ownership of customers issues and following problems through to resolution. Main Responsibilities Managing key accounts of customers through the relevant sales contacts within the business, as well as with buyers for customers. Take ownership of customer issues and follow problems through to a resolution. Ensuring customer queries are responded to in a timely fashion. Being the first point of contact for key customers and account managers. Continue to improve both internal and customer experience when dealing with the customer service team. Analyse statistics and compile accurate reports for both customer and business key stake holders. Teamwork To have a strong teamwork ethos. To support other members of the customer service team regarding issues as they arise. Contribute to ideas and solutions to improve the team’s delivery. Collaborate with other departments when necessary. Communication Communicate with other relevant departments within Ardo, at all levels. Share information with team. Assure timely and consistent complaint analysis and feedback to the customer. Keep the Customer Excellence Manager informed regarding any issues. To provide effective communications across the departments to ensure we meet customer expectations. Provide clear and prompt communication to the Account Managers. Qualifications and Experience Experience of order processing (via email and over the phone) is essential. Experience working in food industry preferable. Good level of PC literacy, ability to use MS Office proficiently. Data inputting – using a bespoke system (training will be given). Experience of SAP system preferred. Proactive, can-do attitude. Able to work well on own initiative but also as a team. Attention to detail, methodical. Able to work to deadlines.
