About the role
As we develop products for delivery to end users you will also be hands‑on with actual mission planning equipment developed for weapons such as Storm Shadow, Spear and others currently in development. This role includes engagement with customers and end users as well as working with many other parts of MBDA.
Responsibilities
* Conduct systems design activities for various mission planning products.
* Provide key inputs to requirements capture, design freezes, system integration and testing through to full product verification and certification.
* Work closely with UK and French Systems and Software teams, as well as other parties to enable robust design and system validation.
Qualifications
* Understanding of System Engineering Process is essential with recent experience in a systems engineering role ideally across the full lifecycle.
* Experience with tools for Requirements Capture and Control (e.g. DOORS) and Configuration Management.
* Ability to communicate and work effectively in a collaborative environment spanning a number of teams and locations.
* Experience in technical problem solving and a strong analytical thinking ability.
* General understanding of mission planning principles would be beneficial.
* Engineering degree or equivalent.

* Salary: £52,500 – £57,000
* Dynamic (hybrid) working: usually a minimum of 3 days per week on site.
