Overall purpose:
We are looking to recruit a full time support worker to join the team at The Beehive, our adults’ day therapy and activity centre.
This role requires staff to
1. Provide excellent support and care to people day to day.
2. Support and encourage people to take part in new things, which can help develop confidence and enable them to reach their full potential.
3. Support people with every aspect of their personal care.
4. Drive the organisation’s vehicles and act as an escort when required.
5. When appropriately trained, administer medication in line with Diverse Abilities’ policy.
6. Provide a clear record of the day’s activity with/for the person you’ve supported.
7. Work to the Centre’s policies and procedures.
8. Take responsibility for ensuring your training is up to date.
9. Participate in regular support and supervision.
