Job Title: Employability & Enterprise Officer
Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week (Permanent)
Salary: Band 4, £33,002 to £36,636 per annum
About The Post
This role focuses on delivering high-quality employability, careers, and enterprise support to students and graduates, enabling them to transition into positive and fulfilling futures. You will support a range of initiatives—including careers fairs, placements, workshops, and enterprise programmes—that develop skills, enhance employability, and inspire entrepreneurial thinking. Working closely with colleagues across the Careers, Employability and Enterprise team, as well as academic departments and external partners, you will support the delivery of innovative, student‑centred activities and experiential learning opportunities. You will engage directly with students through drop‑ins, one‑to‑one support and group delivery, build strong relationships with employers, and use feedback and data to continuously improve provision, ensuring impactful outcomes for a diverse student and graduate community.
About The Team
* The Employability and Enterprise Officer will be part of the Careers, Employability and Enterprise (CEE) Team which sits within the Directorate of Careers, Commercial and Academic Partnerships.
* The Team consists of Employability and Careers Consultants, Work‑Integrated Learning Consultants, Enterprise professionals and a Data Analyst – all with a real passion for ensuring that our students achieve to their full potential.
* The Team is friendly and collaborative, encouraging innovation and new ideas.
* The Team benefits from agile working, with on‑campus time of around 60%, however this will vary according to the time of the year and when students are on campus.
