Electrical FM Contracts Manager

Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Electrical FM Contracts Manager to oversee electrical maintenance contracts to service a new won contract in the Leeds area. The role involves managing service delivery, ensuring compliance with electrical regulations, and maintaining excellent client relationships. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on leader with a strong electrical background to join a reputable facilities management business.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and deliver electrical FM contracts across a variety of commercial and operational sites
* Oversee planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical works
* Lead, mentor, and manage a team of electrical engineers and subcontractors
* Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, including health & safety and electrical standards
* Monitor budgets, costs, and contract profitability
* Build and maintain strong client relationships, attending contract review meetings as required
* Manage reporting, KPIs, and service delivery standards
* Support the mobilisation of new contracts and implement continuous improvement initiatives
* Handle emergency call‑outs and critical incidents effectively
Skills and Experience Required
Essential:
* Time-served Electrical Engineer or qualified Electrician
* Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, AM2, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
* Proven experience in Facilities Management or Building Services
* Previous contract management or supervisory experience
* Strong working knowledge of electrical compliance and health & safety legislation
