Practice Plus Group are currently delivering Integrated Urgent Care services in Warwickshire and Coventry, and are looking for a Service Delivery Manager to join our well established team.
In this role, you would be jointly working with the Medical Lead, Clinical Lead and Regional Manager to provide an efficient and satisfying service to commissioners and patients alike, while also ensuring and improving on the high performance and morale of our multi-disciplinary teams.
The Service Delivery Manager will be responsible for the out of hours services that Practice Plus Group operate in Warwickshire, Coventry and Rugby. You will also be actively monitoring and reporting on the service's performance and needs, working with budgets as well as using your skills to recruit, develop and lead both operational and clinical staff and their processes. This will include conducting appraisals and training, assisting in investigations where required and applying Practice Plus Group's visions and values.
This role will be based in our offices in Worcestershire and Warwickshire as well as some home working. Permanent, full time role of 37.5 hours a week, which will also include rotating silver on-call responsibilities.
Main duties of the job
Lead the safe, high‑quality delivery of Out of Hours and CAS services as the CQC Registered Manager, ensuring compliance with national/local quality requirements, KPIs, statutory standards and audit actions.
Oversee operational performance, governance and financial control, including budget management, capacity and demand modelling, rota planning, resource allocation, data quality, confidentiality, risk management and safe use of assets, systems and medications.
Build strong relationships with commissioners and key partners, attend and chair meetings, provide reports, and implement service improvements arising from inspections, performance reviews, complaints and incidents.
Recruit, develop and lead a high‑performing workforce, ensuring effective communication, supervision, annual appraisals, mandatory training, attendance management and robust performance management across clinical and non‑clinical teams.
Drive continuous improvement by monitoring KPIs and NQRs, minimising agency use, ensuring policy compliance, maintaining excellent patient experience, and supporting project work and operational resilience.

* Ability to manage performance, using data and KPIs, including performance, grievance and disciplinary investigations.
* Experience supporting the workforce planning, recruitment and onboarding of new staff into an organisation.
* Able to communicate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
* Ability to work occasional Bank Holidays, weekend and evenings, as well as participating in on‑call duties on a rota basis.

£47,000 to £55,000 a year, up to £56,000 depending on experience, plus bonus and car allowance.
