Production Planner Middlesbrough 12 Month FTC (Maternity Cover) Jackson Hogg is delighted to be partnered with a busy and growing manufacturer based in Teesside on the apppointment of a Production Planner. This is a key role that sits at the heart of our operations. You’ll be responsible for making sure production schedules are realistic, achievable, and aligned with both internal capacity and customer expectations. Working closely internally across other functions and teams including Sales, Finance, OC, Purchasing, Design, and Production — as well as externally with key suppliers and customers — you’ll ensure that every order flows smoothly through the system and hits its deadlines. You'll be the one keeping things moving, managing multiple orders at once, spotting delays before they happen, and communicating clearly with everyone involved. From order approval through to dispatch and invoicing, you’ll make sure nothing gets missed. What we’re looking for: * Experience in planning or coordination (ideally in a manufacturing or engineering environment) * Great attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities * Strong communication skills — both internally and with customers and externally with suppliers to understand their expectations, challenges and constraints * A proactive, problem-solving mindset * Confident using Excel and internal systems * Calm under pressure and flexible when plans change If you’re organised, solutions-focused, and enjoy working with people, this is a great opportunity to play a central role in a fast-paced and growing business.
