Fawkes & Reece are partnering with a leading residential developer who are delivering high-quality, design-led communities across London and the South East. Our client is looking to appoint a Commercial Manager to lead their regional commercial function, working on a portfolio of large-scale residential developments.

This is a pivotal leadership role, with responsibility for driving commercial strategy, overseeing procurement, and ensuring robust cost and financial management across multiple projects. You'll work closely with technical, production, and pre-construction teams, while developing and mentoring commercial staff at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage the commercial team across a range of residential schemes
2. Take ownership of procurement, subcontractor management, and contract compliance
3. Monitor and report on financial performance, cash flow, and cost control measures
4. Approve valuations, payments, and final accounts in line with company policies
5. Deliver accurate forecasting and commercial reporting to senior leadership
6. Identify and mitigate commercial risks with a proactive approach
7. Coach and develop surveyors and commercial staff to achieve career progression
