We are an outstanding rural high school located in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, offering a unique opportunity to work in an exceptional educational and natural environment. Situated just ten minutes from the centre of Skipton, the school is surrounded by the stunning landscape of Upper Wharfedale. The school sits at the heart of its community, with facilities open during evenings and weekends to provide activities and enrichment opportunities for local young people and their families.
Regular public transport serves the area, enabling staff and students to travel easily from surrounding towns and villages. Our Students and Community

The Role
This is a part‑time position (0.4–0.6 FTE), equivalent to two to three days per week.
For a PE specialist, the role offers excellent opportunities, including strong links with Rugby Union and access to a 20‑metre indoor swimming pool.
No two days are the same, and we are seeking an enthusiastic, flexible and committed team player who is keen to contribute fully to school life.
