Job Title - Lettings Accounts Adminstrator Salary - £28,000 - £30,000 Location - Edgbaston Start Date - January My Client, an independent Lettings Only Agency is seeking an experienced Client Accountant to join their dynamic, fast paced and growing company. The role forms a vital part of the team, working closely with the Property Services and Lettings teams. In all areas, you will need to ensure that company policies and procedures are consistently applied to the required standards, delivering on time and with a high degree of accuracy whilst supporting the company’s vision and values. Responsibilities: Assisting with chasing tenants who are late with rent payments and updating landlords in line with the company’s policy. Understand general accounts ledgers to be able to explain to tenants, landlords and contractors regarding the position on their account. Dealing with queries from branches. Checking statements and making payments to tenants, landlords and contractors. Chasing up landlords who owe fees. Providing references to tenants based on their account history. Looking at ways to improve and streamline processes. Periodic reporting to client Accurate reconciliation of client reports. Manage and maintain the property and tenant database. Monitor cash handling income in accordance with compliance teams’ instruction. General procedures that relate to accounts function Characteristics : Excellent eye for attention to detail and accuracy. Problem solver with the ability to take ownership and resolve issues.
