Position: Deputy Manager
Hours: 40 hours per week

Responsibilities:
* Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff member, parent, and visitor at all times.
* Understand and uphold the statutory framework for the EYFS throughout the nursery.
* Assist in managing medication administration and ensure care plans are thorough and up to date for children or staff with health conditions.
* Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments, and resources appropriate to each child's age and stage of development.
* Promote respect and credibility through effective communication, impartiality, and consistency.
* Inspire the staff team with creative ideas and challenges to achieve outstanding practice.
* Maintain accurate records and accounts related to children and staff on the EyMan system and on file.
* Undertake additional duties to ensure the smooth running of the nursery and the safety and wellbeing of children, staff, and families.

Requirements:
* Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification - Essential
* Leadership experience - Essential
* Over 1 year of experience working in Early Years - Essential
* Sound knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements - Essential
* Over 1 year of experience in a management position - Desirable
* Level 5 qualification in Childcare and/or Management and Leadership - Desirable
* Experience of successfully passing an Ofsted inspection to good or outstanding – Desirable
