West College Scotland is looking for knowledgeable and enthusiastic individuals to join our Bank of Lecturers to deliver high-quality teaching and support to students preparing for careers in this dynamic industry.
As a Bank Lecturer in Travel and Tourism, you will:
• Deliver high-quality teaching and learning in line with current curriculum standards.
• Support and guide students to achieve their full potential.
• Contribute to curriculum development and quality assurance processes.
• Maintain professional expertise and engage in ongoing development.
What We’re Looking For:
• Minimum SCQF Level 8 qualification (e.g., HND) in Travel and Tourism or a related subject.
• Relevant commercial or industrial experience within the sector.
• Delivery experience in the subject area.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage classes effectively and work as part of a team.
Previous teaching or lecturing experience is desirable; however, if you are new to teaching, we will support you in making this exciting career change. Successful candidates should be prepared to work towards a professional teaching qualification.
