Bookkeeping & Payroll Clerk
Salary - up to £32k
Central Bristol
Office based with one day WFH upon successful completion of the probation period
Playing a key part in the day-to-day running of monthly and weekly client payrolls, your responsibilities will include:
1. Regularly liaising with our clients to ensure that you have all the information required to run their payrolls
2. Maintaining books and records for client portfolios - using Xero, Sage, Excel & QuickBooks. Extra training can be provided regarding the systems.
3. Speaking to clients first-hand over the phone and face-to-face assisting with their queries.
4. Processing tax and allowances
5. Providing a pensions auto-enrolment service
6. Dealing with payroll and bank credits
To be considered for the role, you will need to have:
1. Previous payroll administration & bookkeeping experience - desirably from an accountancy practice environment
2. Excellent attention to detail
3. The ability to work well under pressure within a fast-paced working environment
4. Good IT skills and be able to confidently use Microsoft Office and payroll software
