An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Events Manager to join our friendly team at One Warwick Park Hotel.
This is a fixed term contract to cover for a period of six months and involves managing all elements of the Events Department. Ensuring events are delivered to the highest standards and that guests are communicated with before, during and after their event. Work closely with the F&B and Sales departments to provide a seamless transition for clients. This is a high profile role and requires an excellent customer facing approach.
You will be highly organised with a good track record of running and delivering events.
In return we are offering a starting salary between £32,000 - £34,000 per annum (DOE), plus a share of the service charge and tips. You will be entitled to a contributory pension scheme, life insurance and 30 days paid annual leave.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure all events are delivered in a professional manner and meet or exceed client expectations
2. Ensure that all events are costed effectively in line with company guidelines
3. Ensure that all event communication (internal and external) is correct and delivered in a timely manner
4. Ensure event team members are completing their administrative and hosting roles to a high level.
5. Work closely with the sales and operations teams
6. Ensure all event spaces are always customer ready and that any maintenance issues are dealt with a timely manner
7. Achieve KPIs on communication time frames and upselling targets
8. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with other departments and assist where necessary
9. Manage the events inbox and liaise with clients once passed over from the sales team
10. Meet and communicate with clients to discuss requirements, and record these effectively within the booking system
