We are looking for an experienced National Security Manager to be based either at our site in Northampton (NN7 2FR) or Derby (DE65 6BG). This position involves remote work for 2 days per week with travel to key Yusen sites across the UK.
As a key member of our organisation, you will play a vital role in driving and improving the organisation’s security strategy to protect both Yusen Logistics and our customers.

Key responsibilities
* You will design, implement, and continuously improve physical security, asset protection, and loss prevention frameworks across warehousing and transport operations.
* Lead risk assessments and audits across multiple sites and functions, identifying vulnerabilities and implementing mitigation plans.
* Collaborate with internal teams, customers and carriers to ensure everyone is aligned with security processes and procedures.
* Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations such as ISO 28000, 27001, TAPA, and CAA.
* Develop, review and update security controls, including performance reporting, technology, processes, training, and plans.
* Provide real-time support, leading the organisation’s response to security incidents and investigations.
Key requirements
* Proven experience working in physical security or loss prevention role, ideally within a logistics (or similar) environment.
* Demonstrable experience developing and implementing security strategies, projects and performance metrics.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* High attention to detail and process-driven.
* Good knowledge of security systems is advantageous.
