Our Chef at Lime Wood plays an integral role within our kitchen brigade, ensuring all sections work collaboratively.

1. Prepare ingredients and maintain all workspaces, ensuring compliant handling of all baking and other kitchen equipment.
2. Ensure mise-en-place is always freshly prepared.
3. Follow recipes and assist with the development of new menu offerings. Be creative and express ideas.
4. Ensure all ingredients and equipment required are readily available. Handle ingredients and equipment with care.
5. Adhere to health and safety protocols, including excellent knowledge of food handling and hygiene.
6. Support the development of Chef Apprentices and junior staff.

Experience as a Demi Chef de Partie or Senior Chef de Partie is essential, along with the drive and confidence to work as part of a fast and efficient team.

Passion to work with quality ingredients and always deliver on guest satisfaction is essential.

We are currently seeking experienced Senior Chef de Partie and Demi Chef de Partie to work alongside Angela Hartnett and Luke Holder in delivering exceptional dining experiences at Hartnett Holder & Co, within the award-winning five-star Lime Wood Hotel. Lime Wood is a 33-bedroom boutique country house set in the heart of the New Forest National Park. It offers laid-back 5-star luxury, with Chefs Angela Hartnett and Luke Holder leading the kitchen, and a wellness spa within the grounds.
