Agency Care Assistant, Cwmbran, £–£15 p/h
Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Agency Care Assistant to join our team in Cwmbran, providing high-quality care and support to individuals in a variety of settings. You will utilise your expertise in manual handling and care assistance to deliver person-centred care, promote independence, and enhance the overall well-being of service users. This role requires flexibility, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional care.
Key Responsibilities
5. Provide personal care and support to service users, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, using safe manual handling techniques
6. Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, feeding, and medication administration in a supportive manner
7. Build and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care
8. Contribute to the development and implementation of individualised care plans tailored to each service user
9. Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery
Required Skills & Experience
10. Minimum 6 months UK-based experience as a Care Assistant
11. Manual handling training and practical experience
12. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
13. Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
14. Commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care
