Healthcare Inventory Specialist (Field-Based, Scotland & Northern Ireland)

What you will do
The Field Inventoryspecialistwillberesponsible forcounting inventory in the fieldat customer sitesin line with the set plan for the year, including reconciliation agreed withcustomer.
The role will be successful by building internal andexternal relationships,to executethe counts inthe fieldbut alsotodriveadditionalinventory managementvalue added activitiestogether with customers.
Key Activities & Responsibilities
1. Responsible to making sure the counts in your set regionareperformed in line theEuropean SOP for field inventory count.
2. Together with the manager create the most effective count plan for the year
3. Manage the appointments with the hospitals and Stryker sales repsProactivelyidentifiesopportunities for inventory optimization, and present these to internal stakeholders (and customers)
4. Visit the customerand perform the inventory count withStryker’sAIM platform for field inventorymanagement
5. The count is performedfor sterile implants, unsterileimplantsand kits.
6. Analyse the count differences, alignand agree theactions withthe customer and ifrequiredthe Stryker sales reps
7. Using the AIM platform to perform the inventory adjustment transactions as agreed with the customer and the Stryker sales rep in Oracle.
8. Send necessary reports to customer and Stryker sales rep.
9. Work together with the customer andagree actions for expired or soon to be expired products
10. Represent Stryker in a professional wayduring customer visits
11. Buildeffectiverelationships withour customer and internal stakeholders
12. Contributingto continuous improvements byidentifyinginefficiencies and proposing process improvements
13. Stay up to date with product knowledge to understand the Stryker business, ourcustomersneedsto create the best possible outcomes for field inventor management
14. Be the role model for your colleagues and support more junior colleagues related to the job. Support onboarding and training of new team members.
15. Ensures all ISO, Compliance, SOX, FCPA and regulatory requirements and policiesare followed
What you need
Education
:
16. Alevelsor higher (or equivalent)
17. Degree in business orlogistics
Experience
18. Managing of inventory and counting inventory, including reconciliation
19. ManagingMicrosoftoffice applications and ERP systemsefficiently
20. Experience of working with SOPsand SOX controls
21. Proven excellent communication skillsand building relationships
22. Managing fieldinventory at customer sites
23. Experience working with implants and instruments or similar work
24. Asset or inventorymanagement –work with evaluating inventory and making adjustments that reduces inventory whilemaintainingservice levels.
25. Medical Device Industry- Experiencewithin the industry dealing with sterile and non-sterile components
