Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. Over 21 for insirance purposes as some shifts involve lone working. The ideal candidates will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. As a member of our bar staff, you will be responsible for serving drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring an enjoyable experience for our patrons.
Shifts are Tuesday 16:30-22:30, Thursday 16:30-23:30 and Friday 16:30-00:30. Other hours are available to cover other staff holidays etc.
Duties
* Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
* Engage with customers, taking orders accurately and efficiently while providing recommendations when needed.
* Handle cash transactions and operate the till, ensuring basic math skills are utilised for accurate billing.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
* Monitor customer behaviour to ensure responsible serving practices are followed.
* Assist in restocking supplies and maintaining inventory levels as required.
Skills
* Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred.
* Strong understanding of food safety regulations and practices.
* Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively.
* Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
* Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
* Strong communication skills to engage with customers and team members effectively.
