Our client is seeking an experienced and dedicated Home Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a care home. Key Responsibilities Oversee the safe, effective, and compliant running of the home on a daily basis Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing care team Deliver exceptional, person-centred care to all residents Ensure full compliance with company policies and all legal and regulatory requirements Maintain and improve service quality and resident satisfaction Manage budgets, resources, and occupancy levels effectively Build strong relationships with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders Essential Requirements Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care Minimum 5 years’ experience in a managerial role within the care sector (care home experience preferred) Relevant qualification in Health & Social Care, Nursing, or a related field Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and the Health and Social Care Act Proven experience in safeguarding vulnerable individuals Knowledge & Experience Understanding of care home legislation, compliance, and best practices Experience with health & safety, risk assessments, and emergency procedures Financial management experience including budgeting and cost control Familiarity with care planning systems and IT tools (e.g. Microsoft Office) Experience in recruitment, staff training, and performance management Key Skills Strong leadership and team management abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Effective problem-solving and decision-making Organisational and time management skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Personal Attributes Compassionate and empathetic approach High level of integrity and professionalism Resilient and adaptable under pressure Strong attention to detail Collaborative and team-focused mindset Desirable First Aid certification Experience in marketing and community engagement
