Job Title: Personal Assistant (PA)
Reporting to: Ahmed Yar
Location: Pudsey, Leeds West Yorkshire
Job Purpose
* Assist the employer and care for them in order to accommodate their social life interests and provide full support.
* Assist them in the different hobbies and interests they want to do.
About the Employer
* 38 years old male, loves to participate in many different social activities; hobbies include bowling, going to different leisure facilities such as swimming, restaurants, going to the cinema. Enjoy spending a lot of time outside with family.
* Diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, uses a powered wheelchair. Requires assistance in standing up and moving around. Some ability to walk with the use of crutches. Also has Diabetes; requires help in taking medication on time.
Social/ Domestic Duties
* Attending different leisure facilities such as bowling, swimming, restaurants, etc.
* Attending medical appointments.
* Visiting family and friends.
* Going on walks in the park and other places.
* Support with shopping
* Serving food
Personal Care
Require support when eating and drinking, administering medication, moving around from place to place, supporting in balance, could require help in performing stretches and exercises to help MS symptoms and fatigue.
Benefits

* Will be supported by other family members of the employer for the first few weeks with help on what the employer wants and requires.
Hours of Work
14 hours per week, Monday-Friday, flexibility of morning and afternoon hours.
Rate of Pay
£12.60/hour
Skills and Qualifications
* Full First Aid administration.
* Full UK Driving license
* Great understanding of emotional changes and behaviour changes. (Essential)
* Confident
* Patient
* Personal car insurance
* Ability to swim
* Experience in understanding what the employer wants to say even if the employer has some difficulty speaking.
