Perfect Recruitment are supporting a premium, award:winning seasonal country inn in the search for a confident and commercially minded Deputy General Manager. Set in a stunning rural location, this is a standout opportunity for a hands:on hospitality leader who thrives on great food, great service, and smart business decisions.
This role suits someone with presence, energy, and ambition - a natural leader who enjoys being on the floor but also understands what drives performance behind the scenes.
The Role:
- Support the General Manager in the day:to:day running of a busy, food:led operation
- Lead, motivate, and develop the FOH team to consistently deliver outstanding guest experiences
- Maintain exceptional standards across service, food, and drink
- Take an active role in stock control, ordering, and stock reporting
- Support P and L performance, understanding margins, labour control, and cost management
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, training, and team development
- Deputise for the GM when required and help drive overall business performance
About You:
- Proven hospitality management experience, ideally within a food:led or premium pub/inn environment
- Confident with financials - including P and L awareness, GP control, stock management, and basic reporting
- Hands:on, organised, and comfortable leading from the front
- A big personality with strong leadership, communication, and people:management skills
- Passionate about fresh food, quality drinks, and genuine hospitality
- Calm under pressure and confident in a busy, high:volume setting
- Ambitious, commercially aware, and keen to grow with the business
