Permanent Senior Veterinary Surgeon - Chatham, Kent

We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in Chatham, Kent for a Permanent Senior Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. This role is full time for 5 days per week with a mix of early and late shifts between 8am and 7:30pm, along with 1 in 3 Saturdays with time off in lieu. Part time applications will also be considered. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.

11. Consultations: 15 minutes
12. Team: 4 vets, 1 HVN, 5 RVNs, 1 SVN, 1 ANA and a supportive non-clinical team
The role
13. The role will involve working closeley with the head vet and practice principle
14. The practice provide a varied caseload so it is ideal for a vet to be keen to develop their skills and knowledge whilst also ideal for a more experienced Vets to keep them stimulated
15. There are surgery days on a rota basis
16. Flexible working and rota patterns are available to accommodate a good work-life balance
17. The vet will be responsible for providing a high standard of veterinary care and customer service
18. The vet will be responsible to ensuring that there is excellent communication between themselves and the team and with clients

About you
32. The ideal vet will have extensive graduate experience and be confident leading a team
33. The Vet will be a team player, with good interpersonal skills and be able to establish strong working relationships
34. The vet will have excellent communications skills and a compassionate attitude along with excellent client facing skills
35. The Vet will always maintain a high standard of clinical care and always willing to go that extra mile for patients
Package
36. Salary: Up to £75, per annum, commensurate to experience
37. Holidays: 6.6 weeks annual leave, increasing with service and birthday off
