This is an excellent opportunity for a multi-skilled engineer who wants to move beyond reactive maintenance into a more proactive, reliability-focused role, helping drive equipment performance, reduce downtime, and support continuous improvement across the site. The Role: Carrying out fault finding and repairs on production equipment Delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and supporting breakdown response Identifying and implementing improvements to reduce repeat failures Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site Using CMMS systems to manage maintenance activities and track performance Working closely with production, engineering, and support teams Assisting with spares identification and inventory control Supporting and mentoring apprentices where required Maintaining high standards of health & safety and housekeeping The Candidate: A time-served apprenticeship or equivalent in an engineering discipline Multi-skilled experience (mechanical & electrical) Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills Experience using CMMS / maintenance systems Knowledge of PPM and reliability-based maintenance approaches The ability to work both independently and as part of a team A continuous improvement mindset with a focus on long-term solutions JDRCC JDR is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
