Tenancy Services Support Officer Location: Kirkby in Ashfield Contract: Temporary - 26 weeks (potential extension) Working Arrangement: Fully onsite About the Role: We are seeking a motivated individual to support the Tenancy and Estates Team within a local authority Housing Management service. This role involves providing administrative, operational, and customer support to ensure smooth service delivery for tenants and internal teams. Key Responsibilities: Manage appointments, inspections, surgeries, and tenant visits Respond to enquiries and complaints via phone, email, and in person Administer tenancy requests, including mutual exchanges, successions, and assignments Support housing officers during visits, safe and well checks, and tenancy inspections Process requests for keys, fobs, TV licences, and other housing referrals Maintain electronic records and handle scanning, indexing, and document retrieval Prepare reports, statistics, and performance information Carry out general admin tasks including minute taking, printing, and correspondence Assist with sheltered scheme reviews and Lifeline Service cover Required Skills & Experience: Understanding of social housing and tenant issues Experience in customer service and call handling Strong office and administrative skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently or as part of a team Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.) Other Information: Fully onsite role with no hybrid working Based in Kirkby in Ashfield, with occasional travel to other local authority locations
