Our client is a well-established accountancy practice with a strong regional presence and an excellent reputation in Tax compliance and advisory work.

Your new role:
As a Corporate Tax Manager, you'll take ownership of a portfolio of personal and partnership tax cases, ensuring all compliance work is delivered accurately and on time.
This is a compliance-led role, with the core focus on reviewing and managing the preparation of tax returns and maintaining the highest standards of accuracy. While there will be occasional involvement in ad hoc advisory projects, the vast majority of your work will centre on tax compliance delivery, oversight, and review.
Alongside managing your own client portfolio, you'll also play a key role in driving team performance through training, mentoring, and quality control.
Key responsibilities include:
* Proactively manage your own portfolio of corporate tax clients
* Review tax work to ensure accuracy and high standards
* Analyse and monitor team performance to identify training needs
* Deliver training and mentoring to tax team members
* Ensure profitability and efficiency across the team
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* ATT qualified (CTA preferred) or qualified by experience
* Minimum 5 years' management experience in practice within an income tax compliance role
* Strong knowledge of income tax compliance and UK tax regulations
* Excellent communication, organisational, and project management skills
* Proven track record of client service delivery
* Experience dealing with NHS Superannuation issues (advantageous)
