Adults Social Worker – Full Time, Knowsley UK, £32.07 Hourly, Locum
Join our dedicated team for a three-month adventure as an Adult Social Worker in the vibrant community of Knowsley. This full-time role requires 36 hours a week, Monday to Friday from 9 to 5, with the flexibility of hybrid working at least two days a week based at our Halewood office. You will be on duty twice a week, managing your own caseload. A clean DBS and SWE registration are essential as well as experience in Adult Social Work. What you will do:
* Identify and escalate risks to ensure the safety and well-being of adults in your care.
* Undertake social care needs assessments and develop comprehensive support plans.
* Support and commission services, ensuring tailored assistance for each individual.
* Conduct safeguarding enquiries, mental capacity assessments, best interest meetings, and continuing healthcare assessments.
* Work closely with partner agencies such as Rapid Response, Reablement services, drug and alcohol services, housing, and healthcare professionals.
* Promote independence and short-term interventions to maximise clients’ potential.
