We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead and manageplex employee relations and organisational change initiatives. This role is pivotal in ensuring the business navigates workforce challenges effectively while maintaining a high standard of employee experience andpliance.
Your new role
1. Lead delivery of strategic change programmes, including restructures, workforce transitions, and operational mobilisations.
2. Manage a broad range of employee relations (ER) cases across the business unit, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
3. Provide expert advice and coaching to senior leaders on ER matters, ensuringpliance with policies and employment legislation.
4. Drive continuous improvement in HR processes and performance, identifying opportunities for optimisation.
5. Ensure early identification and planning of ER and change activities to support business continuity.
6. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, staff representatives, and external regulatory bodies.
7. Evaluate HR initiatives and implement corrective actions where necessary.
8. Develop line manager capability through tailored coaching and training interventions.
9. Support investigations into whistleblowing andpliance concerns with integrity and transparency.
10. Lead management of employment tribunal cases, collaborating with legal and HR teams to mitigate risk.
11. Promote best practice in case handling and ensure consistency across the organisation.
12. Champion a proactive, quality-first approach to employee relations, safeguarding organisational reputation.
13. Manage union and staff association engagement, ensuring constructive dialogue and resolution.
14. Prevent ER issues through early intervention and capability building.
15. Contribute to wider HR projects, applying sound judgment and strategic insight toplex scenarios.
What you'll need to succeed
16. Proven experience in managingplex ER cases and organisational change.
17. Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience working with trade unions or staff associations.
18. Ability to coach and influence senior leaders in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
19. Sound understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
20. Excellentmunication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
