Job Title: IT Helpdesk Technician (1st Line Support) - Hybrid/Harrogate
Location: Harrogate (3 days office/2 days home)
Salary: Up to c.£30, DOE + Generous Weekend and Bank Holiday On-Call Allowance

IT Helpdesk Technician Responsibilities
1. Deliver 1st line IT support both remotely and on-site
2. Manage and resolve incidents via the IT Service Management platform
3. Configure, deploy, and maintain laptops, desktops, and corporate devices
4. Support Microsoft suite including Teams, SharePoint, and Exchange
5. Manage Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD)
6. Oversee device management and security through Microsoft Intune
7. Provide VoIP support (3CX) and assist with basic networking issues (DHCP, DNS, VPN)
8. Support Apple devices, including iPads, MacBooks, and macOS
9. Contribute to hybrid cloud migration projects and internal IT initiatives
10. Participate in the weekend on-call support rota (with allowance)
IT Helpdesk Technician Requirements
Essential:
11. Previous experience in a 1st Line IT Support/Helpdesk role
12. Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft
13. Understanding of Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID
14. Familiarity with Microsoft Intune for device management and security
15. VoIP (3CX) and basic networking knowledge (DHCP, DNS, VPNs)
16. Ability to support Apple technology confidently
17. Full UK driving licence and own transport
18. Based in or near Harrogate
Desirable:
19. Windows Server administration
20. RMM tool experience (eg, Datto, Zendesk, Freshdesk)
21. Knowledge of patch management, Scripting, and automation
22. Experience with Microsoft CRM, SQL, or .NET
23. Previous work in healthcare or regulated industries
