Parking Patrol Officer – Network Rail Services – Cardiff Central Quay MSCP – Flexible Hours – Zero Hour Contract
£13.45 per hour.
We require a valid SIA License. You must be customer focused, work well in a team, and be able to handle various situations.
Flexibility for working days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays is essential.
What you will do:
* Provide a high standard of customer service to all car‑park users.
* Issue Penalty Charge Notices where required.
* Apply problem‑solving skills to resolve problems and answer customer questions with empathy and on a timely basis.
* Undertake foot patrols of the car‑park.
* Assist customers in distress or in need of other assistance.
* Monitor activity on the car‑park and deter any criminal activity.
* Maintain good relations with all customers and internal and external stakeholders.
* Liaise with the Supervisor to recommend changes to avoid recurring problems.
* Regulate entry and exit of vehicles to and from the car‑park.
* Monitor the appearance of the designated car‑park, taking action to ensure that company standards are achieved and maintained, including litter picks and weeding as required.
* Carry out any other duties as designated by the Supervisor/Manager.

This is a zero hour retainer position and is primarily to cover holiday/sickness absence and special event days. Shifts would include both days and nights which are usually 12 hours. Flexibility to cover shifts at short notice is required.
