We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at Marsh. This role will be based in the West Malling office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

The role: Client Advisor (Account Handler)

This position would suit an experienced Account Handler or Client Advisor with a background in Commercial or Corporate Insurance, who has previously worked in a Handler or Broker role and is now looking to join an established, market-leading insurance broker.

You will be responsible for supporting a team of Client Executives and handling day-to-day activities, including renewals, mid-term adjustments, and client queries.

We will rely on you to:

1. Support Marsh Client Executives regarding placement strategy for insurance renewals and administer mid-term changes to risk

2. Work on all aspects of account management and service delivery to clients, ensuring client needs are identified and met in line with agreed service standards.

3. Manage all day-to-day queries, renewals, amendments and mid-term adjustments for a number of our larger accounts

4. Request and review underwriting information on behalf of Commercial clients and understand their requirements

5. Prepare and submit accurate market presentations and slips in consultation with the Client Executives and the Placement Team

6. Utilise Marsh online trading systems to collate and negotiate renewal terms with existing and prospective insurers

7. Collaborate with Client Executives and Placement Teams to prepare client reports for renewals

8. Produce and/or request Insurer documentation

What you need to have:

9. Proven experience of working on the full renewal process of commercial or corporate programs

10. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple enquiries simultaneously

11. A good awareness of clients’ business, their business issues, insurance programmes and service plans

14. Cert CII qualified and working towards ACII is desirable
