Overview
Senior Campaigns Manager role at Network Rail. Based in Milton Keynes, UK. The role leads planning, development, and delivery of high-impact marketing and communications campaigns to support Network Rail’s Corporate Communications Strategy. This is a senior role requiring strong campaign strategy, stakeholder engagement, and performance evaluation, with collaboration across internal teams and external agencies.
Responsibilities
* Lead the planning, development, and delivery of national external campaigns that support Network Rail’s reputation and strategic goals.
* Create structured campaign strategies and plans with clear objectives and KPIs.
* Manage paid media plans and lead creative agencies to produce compelling content.
* Collaborate across teams to ensure integrated marketing, monitor budgets for value and efficiency, and use data insights to evaluate performance.
* Ensure campaigns are creative, impactful, and aligned with business goals.
* Build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver integrated campaigns.
Qualifications
* Professional Marketing qualification (e.g. Chartered Institute of Marketing) or equivalent
* Previous management position within an agency or client-side marketing team
* Delivery of high-profile public awareness and/or advertising campaigns
* Publication of corporate documentation (such as annual report)
* Experience applying brand guidelines and participating in brand management
* Social media and web marketing campaign management
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Excellent presentation skills
* Excellent written English
About the Team
The Marketing, Campaigns & Brand team sits within the External Communications & Engagement function and delivers high-impact, multi-channel campaigns aligned with Network Rail’s strategic priorities.
What Does the Day Look Like?
You’ll oversee the development and delivery of national external campaigns, create campaign strategies and plans with objectives and KPIs, manage paid media plans, and lead creative agencies. You’ll monitor budgets, use data insights for performance evaluation, and ensure messaging reaches the right audiences through effective channels.

A strategic, results-driven marketing campaigns professional who thrives in a fast-paced, purpose-led environment with strong audience engagement and campaign planning skills. You’ll be comfortable leading multi-channel campaigns from concept to delivery, with expertise in paid media, creative development, and performance evaluation, and you’ll build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Essential Criteria
