Be confident in supervising classes in the absence of teachers, ensuring students remain engaged and on task. Have experience in behaviour management, mentoring, or youth engagement, ideally in a school or community setting. Hold relevant qualifications such as Youth Work, Education, Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools, or Health and Social Care – desirable but not essential. Have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff. Be able to obtain suitable references and an enhanced DBS check.
