This position is centred around facilities and building services electrical work within a manufacturing environment, offering the opportunity to build on existing skills and develop further over time.
The business is seeking a practical, hands-on electrician who is comfortable working independently and keen to continue developing their skills.
Key Responsibilities will include: Carry out reactive and planned electrical maintenance across site facilities Fault finding and repair of electrical infrastructure and building services Support small electrical installations, including cabling and containment Complete remedial works following fixed-wire inspections Assist with electrical work within production areas where required Coordinate and oversee external contractors, ensuring RAMS and H&S compliance Support safe and efficient day-to-day site operations Essential Experience / Qualifications and Attributes Required: Experience within commercial, facilities, or light industrial environments 18th Edition Wiring Regulations An electrical apprenticeship or equivalent practical training The ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision Confidence working around site infrastructure, wiring, and containment systems A proactive approach to health & safety and compliance Desirable: City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing) IPAF and/or PASMA IOSH Working Safely Experience liaising with contractors and reviewing RAMS Basic IT skills (Word/Excel) What's on offer: Day shift pattern with an early finish on Fridays 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays Pension scheme Gym membership scheme Access to internal mentoring and development opportunities Employee share scheme Health and wellbeing support options Shopping and dining discounts Access to learning and development platforms If you have the relevant experience and are looking for a new challenge, please submit an up-to-date CV by using the apply button. xxuwjjq
