As Health & Safety Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting the safe delivery of a major earthmoving project as part of our site team. Your focus will be on maintaining a safe working environment and promoting a positive safety culture across all operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide HSE support and guidance to the site team.
* Carry out regular site tours and inspections.
* Investigate incidents and report findings.
* Build strong, positive relationships with the workforce.
* Work collaboratively with the client’s SHE team.
* Deliver HSE training and site inductions.
* Maintain accurate HSE documentation and plans.
* Produce monthly HSE reports.
* Keep up to date with relevant legislation and best practices.
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
* Health & Safety experience in construction.
* NEBOSH General Certificate (or higher).
* Knowledge of CDM regulations and current H&S legislation.
* Site-based experience in construction/civil engineering.
* Strong communication skills.
Desirable:
* Familiarity with ISO standards.
* Auditing and inspection skills.
* Experience in incident investigation.
