To support our progress, we are currently recruiting for a BI Developer to come and join our team at our head office in Ibstock, Leicestershire.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the design, development, and optimisation of Power BI semantic models, datasets, and dashboards, ensuring performance, usability, and governance.
* Act as a senior technical point of reference for Power BI development standards, modelling patterns, DAX, security, and deployment practices.
* Develop and maintain Power Automate workflows to support reporting automation, data validation, distribution, and operational processes.
* Translate complex business requirements into robust, scalable BI solutions, working directly with senior stakeholders.
* Support and enhance the organisation’s modern data platform, including ingestion and transformation pipelines where required.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
* Extensive experience as a Power BI Developer in a complex enterprise environment.
* Expert knowledge of:
* Power BI semantic modelling
* DAX
* Performance optimisation
* Row-level security and governance
* Strong experience using Power Automate to support reporting, data processes, and operational workflows.
* Advanced SQL skills for data analysis and transformation.
* Proven ability to engage directly with senior business stakeholders and translate requirements into actionable BI solutions.
* Strong understanding of data quality, validation, and audit requirements.
* Experience supporting and improving reporting platforms used for operational and executive decision making.
