Senior Sustainability Consultant
Manchester | Hybrid working | Up to £60k
A leading multidisciplinary design consultancy is looking for a Senior Sustainability Consultant to join its growing team in Manchester.
This is a great opportunity for someone with 4-8 years' experience in BREEAM and/or Whole Life Carbon who is ready to take the lead on projects, manage client relationships and play a key role in a growing sustainability team.
The Role
You will lead the delivery of sustainability services across a range of high-profile UK projects, including Healthcare, Science & Research, Commercial, Education and Historic Refurbishment.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading BREEAM assessments and environmental certification across multiple projects
Delivering and reviewing Whole Life Carbon / embodied carbon analysis
Advising clients and design teams on net zero and low-carbon strategies
Managing projects, programmes and junior team members
Collaborating closely with architects and engineers from concept through to completion
What We're Looking For
4-8years' experience in sustainability consultancy
Strong experience delivering BREEAM and/or Whole Life Carbon
Ability to manage projects and build effective client relationships
Relevant degree in sustainability, engineering, architecture or a built environment discipline
Passion for sustainable design and the confidence to influence project teams
