The Role Our partner, a vibrant and forward‑thinking Special Educational Needs (SEN) school, is seeking an experienced and passionate SENDCo to lead their SEN provision. You will: Strategic Leadership: Develop, implement and monitor the school's SEND policy, ensuring compliance with the SEN Code of Practice. Assessment & Provision: Oversee the identification and assessment of pupils with SEND, coordinating appropriate interventions and personalised learning plans (EHCPs, IEPs). Team Management: Line manage a dedicated team of teaching assistants and support staff; deliver regular training and professional development. Collaborative Partnerships: Work closely with classroom teachers, senior leadership, external specialists, parents and carers to promote inclusive practice. Data & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and produce termly reports for Governors, the Local Authority and Ofsted inspections.
